We have some incredible news to share! The hard work, strategic planning, and patience have paid off. We are thrilled to announce that we have officially received our Certificate of Occupancy for 38th Street Eats, a Food Truck Court!
This is a monumental step for us and a testament to our commitment to creating new opportunities for local entrepreneurs and a fantastic new destination for Killeen.
To our food truck vendors: The wait is over—our doors are open! We have a professionally managed space with water hook-ups, gray water disposal access, and on-site trash disposal to support your business. We invite you to set up and start serving the community.
To our flea market vendors: We are celebrating this milestone with you! We will be hosting our inaugural KFM Pop-Up Market at the 38th Street Eats location this weekend. Your setup time is from 7 AM to 9 AM, and the market will be open for shoppers from 9 AM to 3 PM.
This new venture at 410 S. 38th Street allows us to keep our business momentum going and continue serving you, our valued vendors and customers. Our commitment to our original Killeen Flea Market location at 2819 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. remains strong, but for now, you can find us at our new home.

Hello Killeen Flea Market Community,
We have some major news to share with you all! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of challenges, strategic pivots, and exciting new opportunities. We want to be completely transparent about our journey and share the two incredible paths we are now pursuing for our business.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we are launching a brand new venture! While we work on the long-term plans for our main property, we have partnered with a local property owner to create "38th Street Eats, a Food Truck Court," located at a prime corner lot at 410 S. 38th Street in Killeen!
Our vision is to create Killeen's go-to destination for quick, delicious, and diverse to-go meals from the best local food trucks. We are targeting a Grand Opening on the weekend of Friday, August 1st, pending our final Certificate of Occupancy approval from the city.
And we want our entire vendor family to celebrate with us! To make the launch a massive community event, we will be hosting a special KFM Pop-Up Market at the 38th Street location on Saturday, Aug 2nd & Sunday, Aug 3rd. We'll be bringing over some of our new carport pavilions to create shaded spaces for our beloved flea market vendors to sell their goods.
Thank you to everyone who voted in our logo poll on Facebook! Your input was amazing, and we're excited to move forward with the community's chosen look for our new brand!
We also want to be upfront about the status of our main flea market location. As you know, we were required to temporarily close while we work with the City of Killeen on permitting. We have now received clear, specific feedback from the city, which gives us a definitive roadmap for reopening and building the premier venue we've always envisioned.
The city requires us to obtain a structural engineer's approval for the main building, install permanent restroom facilities, and create "all-weather surfaces" for our vendor and public areas before we can fully operate on the entire property.
While this means a longer timeline than we had hoped, it reinforces our original plan. The SBA loan we are pursuing is designed to fund these exact improvements. This is not a "no," but a "do it right." We are more committed than ever to our long-term vision of transforming that property into a massive indoor/outdoor market and event space.
Our Path Forward
For now, our primary focus is on making the Grand Opening of "38th Street Eats" and the KFM Pop-Up Market on August 1-3 an incredible success! This allows us to keep our business momentum going, provide a space for our vendors to sell, and continue serving our amazing community while we work on the long-term project.

To our valued vendors, shoppers, and the entire Killeen Flea Market community,
It is with great disappointment that we must announce the temporary closure of Killeen Flea Market, effective immediately. We will not be open for our regular weekend hours until further notice.
As part of our long-term commitment to transform our 10+ acre property into a premier, safe, and fully compliant venue, we are proactively working with the City of Killeen to navigate the official code compliance and permitting process for our buildings and future expansions. This process requires a temporary suspension of our operations.
We understand this news is sudden and deeply frustrating, especially for our dedicated vendors who have put their trust in us. Please know this was not our choice, but a necessary step in our journey to build a lasting foundation for the market.
To Our Vendors: We are sincerely sorry for this disruption. We will be reaching out to every vendor with a paid reservation to process a full and immediate refund. Our commitment to you is unwavering, and we are devastated by this pause.
While this is a significant hurdle, it is not the end. Noah and I are 100% dedicated to our vision. We are actively working to resolve these matters with the city as quickly as possible so that we can reopen our gates.

It's an exciting day at Killeen Flea Market! We are thrilled to announce that our official new sign is being installed today on our frontage posts right on E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. A huge thank you to the professional team at Texas Signs & Designs LLC for their fantastic work in bringing our vision to life!
For us, this is more than just a sign; it's a beacon for our growing community of vendors, our amazing shoppers, and everyone in Central Texas looking for a new weekend destination. It solidifies our presence here in Killeen and marks another major step on our journey to build a premier market and event space for all to enjoy.
Friendly Reminder: We are CLOSED this upcoming weekend (June 14-15) for Father's Day.

We're thrilled to announce a major investment in our vendor and customer facilities! In response to high demand for sheltered spaces and our commitment to creating a more comfortable market experience for everyone, we have just purchased eleven new 12x20 ft heavy-duty carport pavilions!
This expansion is designed to benefit the entire Killeen Flea Market community:
For Our Vendors: Six of these new pavilions will be used to create 12 brand new covered vendor spots, bringing our market's grand total to 26 covered spaces! This gives more vendors the opportunity to sell protected from the Texas sun and elements.
For Our Shoppers & Foodies: We are dedicating three of the new pavilions specifically to enhance your comfort and our developing Food Truck Park! We'll be creating new shaded seating areas with picnic tables and adding covered amenities to our food vendor area, making it an even better place to relax and enjoy a meal.
We are working hard to have these new pavilions installed and ready for use by the weekend of June 28th & 29th. This significant investment is part of our ongoing promise to continuously reinvest in our market, making it the best possible venue for our amazing vendors and our valued community.
(The remaining two carports are being held in reserve for even more future growth!)
We believe in fostering the next generation of local business leaders! We are proud to launch the Killeen Flea Market Emerging Entrepreneurs Program for aspiring young innovators aged 8 to 24. This program is built on a "You Invest, We Invest" partnership model, where Killeen Flea Market provides a FREE first weekend, heavily discounted subsequent weekends, a vendor mentor, and FREE weekly business workshops led by co-owner and former professor Daniel Garcia. A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to all the vendors and shoppers who came out to support our Grand Opening Weekend (May 17-18)! The energy was incredible, and it was wonderful to see our vision for a vibrant community marketplace begin to come to life.
We're all about listening to our community. Based on valuable feedback from our founding vendors, we have adjusted our shopper hours to better suit the weekend flow. Our new public market hours are now Saturdays & Sundays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We're excited to continue growing with you!
The wait is almost over! We are so excited to officially announce that Killeen Flea Market will hold its Grand Opening on Saturday, May 17, 2025! We will be open to the public from 9 AM to 5 PM every Saturday and Sunday at our location at 2819 E Veterans Memorial Blvd, Killeen. We've been working hard to prepare our 3+ acre outdoor market space and can't wait to open our gates to the best vendors and shoppers in Central Texas.
